LAKELAND, FL- November 3, 2016 MicroPath Laboratories, Inc., an independent consultative and diagnostic anatomic pathology laboratory has elected William (Bill) Duke as Chief Executive Officer effective August 1, 2016.
“After a thorough and deliberate selection process, the Board of Directors is delighted that Bill will lead MicroPath as we navigate through the evolving landscape of healthcare,” said Evander Boynton, MD, President of MicroPath. “Bill has a thorough understanding of the needs of our staff and our physician and laboratory clients that utilize our services.”
Duke has served the healthcare industry for over 27 years, most recently as Executive Director for Dallas Associated Dermatologists, P.A., where he oversaw and directed all CEO, CFO, CTO, COO and HR activities for the 100+ employee group.
With combined experience in operations management and the health-care industry, Duke has a proven track record in leading new business development, managing multi-service line operations, and fostering strategic partnership with organizations to grow business services across multiple markets.
He holds an MBA from the University of Tulsa and a Bachelor of Business Administration, in Accounting, from the University of Oklahoma. Also a CPA, Duke earned his Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
